Who We're Looking For

Anyone with technology experience

We are looking for volunteers from a broad range of backgrounds across cybersecurity, AI, software development, and IT operations.

1

Cybersecurity professionals

Any level of experience. SOC analysts, pentesters, GRC professionals, security engineers — your background matters.

2

AI and data practitioners

Data scientists, ML engineers, AI researchers, or anyone working with AI tools in their daily role.

3

IT and software professionals

Developers, sysadmins, network engineers, help desk technicians — all technology backgrounds are valuable.

What To Expect

You do not need to be a teacher

We set you up for success with everything you need to feel confident and prepared.

We provide the curriculum, training materials, and session plans. You bring your experience and willingness to engage with young people.

Our plan is to pair volunteers with experienced facilitators for their first sessions.

Our Promise

You will never be asked to do something you are not prepared for. We invest in our volunteers the same way we invest in our students — with patience, support, and respect for where you are starting.

Time Commitment

Flexible involvement levels

We designed our volunteer experience to fit into busy professional schedules.

Planning

1–2 calls before the bootcamp to review curriculum, meet the team, and prepare.

Delivery

1–3 on-site sessions (2–3 hours each) during the bootcamp week.

Follow-Up

Optional debrief and feedback session to improve future programs.

Language & Accessibility

Bilingual and multilingual support

We meet communities in their language

Many of our initial programs will serve communities where Spanish is the primary language. Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially encouraged to reach out. We also welcome volunteers who speak other languages — our programs are being designed to work with bilingual facilitation, and we will provide translated materials where available.
